Treasure was a 1/2 Boer (meat breed) 1/4 Alpine (dairy breed) and 1/4 Toggenburg (dairy
breed as well).
She was one and a half years old and was my first meat doe. Her twin litter-mate, Trinket, was by then included
in my two goat herd.
She
was bred in 2004, and was due Feb.16,2005. A day over-due, she burst into the shop, and by the time we discovered it she had
eaten an estimated 1/4 of a fifty pound bag of cocci medicated feed.By the time we found out that
she had eaten the feed, it was too late.Being a compressed feed, it swelled, causing her to suffocate.
