We
reserve the right to retain a pre-sold kid for herd replacement. We also reserve the right not to sell a kid
if in our opinion the kid is not suitable for sale. We will make every effort to honor all pre-sold deposits.
If the kid of your choice is not born or is not offered for sale, your deposit will be refunded or transferred at your discretion.
Please plan on making a second or third choice in case either of these options need to happen. Sales are on
a first deposit received, first served basis. A deposit of $100.00 will hold the breeding of your choice.
Prices
are good up until 8 weeks of age. After 8 weeks there will be a boarding fee of $1 a day for thirty days. If shipping
arrangements are not made, and the kid is not picked up by the end of that 30 days, then the ownership of that kid will revert
back to Sequoia Wood with all prior deposits and money paid by the buyer to be forfeited. We are open to circumstances
changing so prior arrangements can be made if your kid needs to remain longer than 30 days.
The
buyer is responsible for all registration/transfer fees, shipping fees with supplies, and health papers.
We reserve
the right to purchase 20 straws of semen for the cost of collection from any mature buck, or buckling we sell.
All animals will be sold healthy, but are the responsibility of the buyer upon the animal leaving our farm.
We
have our herd tested annually for CAE and all animals were CAE negative as of January 2006. We
are not responsible for any animal that tests positive for CAE after it leaves our herd and has been exposed to another herd.
We have not tested for CL but have never had CL abscesses in our herd.
